Advanced control minimizes errors from the start

Today I spend far less time following up on trivial filling-in-errors in the material I receive from the travellers. This is because Travel-X it self checks up on if the travellers have filled out forms right when they type in their travel expenses. The system automatically enters the travel costs according to a few specific guidelines that I have set up my self. These guidelines govern what dimension combinations are permissible in the entering. Furthermore the system makes sure that participants are registered in regards to representation expenses. This advanced control is good to have as it liberates time which I can use on other tasks.

Effective control with less effort

My challenge is to check everything for defects. It is a bit of a task when you receive piles of vouchers from every employee's travel. Luckily it has become much easier to cross check the physical attachments/annex by using Travel-X. I keep all the annex postings electronically in an outline prepared by the traveller him/her self. This information is structured and correct. And I am never in doubt that the manager in charge has had his eyes on the numbers. Finally I can always see which travel settlement I need to get checked. So today I can concentrate more on checking the annex and ensure that all the necessary information is there - and that they are located on the right cost types.

Automatic reminder procedure does the work for me

I am very excited about the automatic reminder procedure in Travel-X. The system automatically sends out announcements to ensure that the travellers get their travel expenses submitted. The automatic reminder is my guarantee that the travellers are made aware that they need to submit their expenses - without my having to spend time e-mailing, calling, or in other ways, follow up repeatedly. It is truly liberating that I no longer need to spend as much gunpowder on reminders in my everyday life. So now I get all the travel expenses done on time - even though my colleagues have a thousand other things that acquire their attention when they return from a travel.
